Promoting children’s understanding of sustainable development through multimodal story-telling in ECEC

In the ever-evolving landscape of education, Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) plays a vital role in shaping young minds. Children are competent interpreters of their everyday world and that makes them adept story-tellers thanks to the narrative skills they possess. Making up stories is an inherently creative act, because children combine things they already know to create something new.
Creative Story-Tellers is an innovative Erasmus+ project designed to enhance children’s understanding of sustainable development. This is achieved by leveraging the transformative influence of storytelling, weaving together creativity and education.
Through a diverse range of storytelling mediums, including visual arts, music, and interactive experiences, the project aims to instil in children a deep appreciation for the importance of sustainable living.
